Because the only sane response to this year’s presidential election is heavy drinking for the next four to eight years, regardless of who wins.

    1. Whoops! Only saw this this morning as I really did sign off the ‘net for the night after posting (and still plan to keep my use limited for a few more weeks until the worst of the nastiness dies down). However the person you should really talk to is your middle daughter who actually did all the planning and arrangements, I just offered the venue. 😀
