All I can say is that there were not enough kick-ass action girls to look up to during my childhood and Yvonne Craig’s Batgirl was right up there with Lynda Carter and Pam Grier in my personal pantheon. I’ve had so much fun introducing the nerdlings to her adventures on MeTV these last few years. Now I feel like I should go re-watch Mars Needs Women and that Star Trek episode where she wears very little besides green paint.
Rest peacefully, you will be missed.

I’ve seen a bit on my feed, but you are right, not much in the mainstream. I always thought she was an icon.

There wasn’t a lot of media concerning her passing. I remember a couple posts and I hung up a print of yvonne with my Star Trek collection in commemoration. I just didn’t go public with it I guess. I called family that were into Batman or Star Trek and let them know. She is always remebered in my world of things.
