In honor of the coming of my second favorite secular celebration of a religious holiday, (sorry, Santa Claus will always beat out the Great Pumpkin in my book) the next 31 days will be a celebration of all things cheesy and monster-related in the music universe. Because there is some great stuff out there.  Between horror-themed metal bands, classic animation, and 80s movie-tie-in music videos, (remember those?) there’s such a wealth of material that I’m frankly spoiled for choice. Yeah, some of the usual suspects (Alice, Ozzy, Mr. Lordi) will be well-represented in the days to come, but hopefully you’ll find a few new favorites amongst the mix. So come along with me for the coming of the Monsters.
